At Cambridge Materials Testing the Quality Program is the driving force for all of our business operations. This quality system determines our administrative duties, directs all technical activities, and manages all issues related to sampling and specimen traceability.

For over 20 years the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) has certified the quality program at CMTL in accordance with the applicable laboratory accredidation standard ISO 17025 (formerly ISO Guide 25).

Additional Approvals
The laboratories at CMTL are further approved for specific fields of testing by: Health Canada, Industry Canada and CPSC - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Nuclear Supply Chain

Our accredited facilities are audited and approved in accordance with ASME Section III, Subsection NCA 3800 by the industry's most prominent suppliers.

Boeing Process Code Approval

The Boeing Company assures that special processes, production of raw material and the procurement of selected parts are performed in accordance with contractually established engineering specifications, drawings and quality requirements.

Controlled Goods – The Controlled Goods Directorate (CGD) administers the Controlled Goods Program, a domestic industrial security program that helps strengthen Canada's defence trade controls and prevents the proliferation of tactical and strategic assets including weapons, satellite global positioning systems and communications equipment, military equipment and related intellectual property.
