Mould detection

An air quality assessment assists in mould detection and can uncover hidden pollutants in your indoor environment. Mould detection should begin with a comprehensive instrument survey of air quality to identify and locate hidden pollution levels this will assist in determining where and what type of laboratory analysis is appropriate and will assist in identifying the cause of an indoor mould problem.

At CMTL qualified mould inspector will identify the source and extent of the moisture damage that lead to the mould detection using thermal imaging and moisture meters. Testing will identify the type of mould that is present, more importantly it tells how much mould is in the air and how far the mould has dispersed from the actual place where it originated. In most cases you should not attempt to remove mould yourself. In Canada, employees who remove mould are protected under The Occupational Health and Safety Act.
